As reported IA "Ukrainski News Agency,the work of the Verkhovna Rada began with the fact that the Regions Party blocked the rostrum and presidium.

But they went out after it became clear that Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn is on a business trip, and the two vice-speaker - Alexander Lavrynovych and Nikolai Tomenko open the meeting, too, can not: the first is ill, and the second is in the Crimea.

Nevertheless, the meeting nevertheless started as Tomenko urgently flown from the Crimea, had rushed from the airport to the building on the street Grushevskogo and made his way to the presidium, announced from the beginning of the Parliament.

Regions, realizing that their plan failed, as a whole left the session hall.

While they were gone, the remaining deputies managed to ratify the protocol on the conservation of biological and landscape diversity of the Carpathians and find a violation of the oath be grounds for termination of authority in local government.

But deputies from the Party of Regions realized it, returned to the hall and again blocked the rostrum and presidium.

Mykola Tomenko, seeing that the situation had once again got out of his control, announced a break and invited the leaders of factions to discuss ways of unblocking the parliament.

Party leaders talked for about 10 minutes and an agreement is not reached.Tomenko announced the closure of the meeting.

As previously reported, the Party of Regions refuses to unblock the work of parliament until until other deputies did not support their proposal to raise minimum wages and pensions.

Opponents of the regionals say their initiative a populist, unfunded, and therefore - unacceptable.
