The deputy head of the National Bank of Ukraine was summoned to the police
Ukrainian Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenkoannounced on Sept. 10 called in for questioning by the Deputy of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), reports "Interfax".The names called in for questioning the official minister did not name, but the site of the National Bank said that the first deputy chief banker of the country is Anatoly Shapovalov.Lutsenko, claiming it is called in for questioning said that perfectly understands the disastrous noisy affairs in the National Bank for financial system stability, but can not accept the fact that silence, which until recently prevailed around the NBU, "recently used by financial crooks who plundered by commercial banks and foreign exchange resources of hundreds of millions of hryvnia.The Minister also noted that investigators had enough evidence to prosecute officials of the National Bank.He recalled that already proinformirval leadership of abuses in the NBU and expressed the hope that the actions of the Interior Ministry to stabilize the hryvnia.Sept. 8 Lutsenko said that Ukrainian Interior Ministry officials have revealed evidence of fraud and abuse by the leadership of the National Bank.The Minister also added that the secretary of the president are well aware of the violations, but deliberately turn a blind eye to it.The secretariat of the NBU and this answered that Lutsenko, without providing any evidence, organized a "show" aimed at having to sow panic among the population and bring down the banking system of the country.
